2. Move the connector lever up an down and place it in the open position (down)

3. Remove both inner pieces and arrange according to the figures on the left and place back in the connector

4. Screw the connector nut back on the connector 

Important:  After placing the connector nut back on the connector and tightening, turn the nut back one turn for easier placement and removal from the valve.  Never over tighten the connector nut.
